Kristy, Receptionist
Kristy started working in the dental field in 1998 as a chair-side assistant for 12 years. She then decided to learn the receptionist role, where she has been for the last five years. Working for Dr. Smith for 15 years, "everyone here is like family to me," she says.
Mary Beth, Dental Hygienist
Mary Beth graduated from Virginia Western with an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2009 and has been working in the clinical environment ever since. She has experience working with patients on all difficulty levels. Mary Beth is certified in the administration of local anesthetic and uses this skill frequently to aid in the patient comfort during more evasive procedures.
"I take pride in helping patients optimize and maintain their oral health while keeping patient comfort a priority. I am knowledgeable on many levels of oral hygiene and know how the rest of the body may be affected," Mary Beth says.

Has 32 years of experience as a chair side assistant.
